Spaced-repetition app that reads Anki decks, for the phone
Status In daily use by me and a few friends
The problem
Anki is the standard for flashcards, and the iPhone app costs US$30. I didn’t want to pay it, so I built my own.
What I built
Honestly, an Anki clone for the phone. The look is my own, but the features are Anki’s: decks, notes and cards, spaced-repetition scheduling, review history and media. Decks come in two ways: import an .apkg made by someone else (so the thousands of community decks still work), or write your own, with nested names like Languages::Mandarin. Each user signs in and keeps their own data; nobody sees anyone else’s.
